I want to invite you to take a drive across the mountains and come to my shop's Open House this Saturday. The leaves are turning color...beautiful gold and reds are making their appearance. In case you haven't been to Plain (or maybe even heard of it!), I'd like to take you on a little tour.

Plain is basically a little town in a valley with the Wenatchee River running through it. There are also two lakes, Lake Wenatchee and Fish Lake nearby. In the summer, Plain draws many hikers and bicyclists and river floaters to the area and the fall brings the leaf peepers! The winter snows bring the cross country and alpine skiers, the snowmobile enthusiasts, and snow shoe lovers. There is always something to do outdoors! Or if you prefer, you can settle in to a warm cabin or lodging, grab a cup of coffee, and just relax. Or....do a little shopping!

Of course, your first place to stop and shop would be Gracious Offering...

Your next stop would be Plain Hardware....so much more than a Hardware store!

The Farmer's Market is still going on with all local produce...

I would love to see you there this Saturday (September 27) for my open house from 12 to 5 pm. I'm busy baking up fall goodies this week...like pumpkin cupcakes with salted caramel icing, Krunsekake bites, another pumpkin dessert, and an apple delight! Along with Hot Cider or Coffee...

Of course, Leavenworth is just around the corner from Plain and is celebrating their Fall Leaf Festival too. Leavenworth has an abundance of lodging and restaurant options...but it will be busy...nothing like the serenity of Plain! Hope to see you this Saturday!
